CWE has been making and servicing scraper feeders since the 1970s. Feeders include coal and more recently renewable fuels. The feeders can also be used to feed aggregate and other solid materials. Oil and Gas pipeline repairs, together with renewable site work, form the core of a business transforming itself to a low carbon future.
Wind turbine manufacture and gearbox refurbishment can be carried out on the large horizontal boring machine.
CWE is part of the Fit for Nuclear initiative.
We have been providing specialist, high-quality engineering solutions since 1966. We began machining and fabricating coal feeders for power stations. However, our work has since expanded to provide a one-stop design, machining and fabrication capability. Examples include coal feeders, machines, spare parts, service and refurbishment, Biofuel feeders, valves, flanges, pipes, and centrifuges.
We are part of the Fit for Nuclear initiative and are therefore focused on Nuclear de-commissioning.
CWE can provide on-site installation, maintenance and refurbishment of components for off-shore wind turbines. Bringing the experience and expertise development, whilst working with other power extractor and generation companies, CWE can therefore provide innovative engineering solutions for this rapidly growing industry.
